About Me..

Born in the morning of the 14th day of October 1973 at Davao Doctor’s Hospital in Davao City to Mrs. Elizabeth P. Gamalong and husband Romeo P. Gamalong Sr., she breathed her first 20 minutes after her twin sister, Joey P. Gamalong, both being the youngest of a brood of 6.  She’s also sister to Megan P. Gamalong, Dr. Romeo P. Gamalong, Jr., Sir Loreto P. Gamalong, Nigel P. Gamalong.

Due to a mythical belief,  and to make the story short, she was raised by her adoptive parents, deceased Ireneo and Mrs. Helen P. Gamao.

She grew up in what is now called MATI CITY that which borders Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur to the north and Compostela Valley to the west.  Mati City is the capital of the Province of Davao Oriental which is the easternmost province of the country.  A peaceful haven that holds a potful of God-sent surprises.  It is a place endowed with enchanting sites and undiscovered treasures that enriches not only the eyes but the soul.  Not the birthplace but definitely the soul-molder, the author believes that with bounties abound, both people and nature, the entirety will get the deserved attention.

The author is schooled in institutions that produce conscientious and brilliant individuals who continually make an impressive difference in the society not only where she hails from but even reaching all regions in the world.

A proud mother of 3 beautiful boys, an indubitable optimist and a hell-kite maverick, the author is unceasingly dancing to the variable music of life, carving every memory in her life’s manuscript. She hopes that when it is time to close it, she’d say with a smile: I LIVED A TOUGH BUT MEANINGFUL LIFE.

and YOU say....
